SkinTyte II™ uses infrared energy to deeply heat soft tissue while protecting the entire treated area with sapphire crystal contact cooling. Energy is delivered in rapid, gentle pulses to promote contraction and partial coagulation of the collagen, initiating the body’s natural healing process. During the procedure, which takes between 30-45 minutes, depending upon the target area(s) being treated, SkinTyte II™ device delivers infrared energy in a sequence of rapid, gentle pulses. A series of pulses will be repeated over the treatment area by your provider through the procedure to ensure the best results and deeply stimulate collagen production.
Following your SkinTyte II™ treatment, the effects of the light energy initiate your body’s natural healing process. This reinvigorates your collagen foundation, leading to increased skin firmness and continued collagen production. After a series of treatments, patients notice firmer, tighter skin within 3-6 months.
While the exact number of injections will vary based on your personal body type and size of the area to be treated, patients will come away with a noticeable, and permanent, reduction in fat deposits under the chin.
The active ingredient in Kybella® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in breaking down and absorbing dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, Kybella® destroys fat cells and once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat. This results in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin, revealing an improved chin profile.
Kybella® requires essentially no downtime, and the side effects are typically minimal. Some patients experience bruising and/or swelling in the treatment area, which will fade over 5-10 days following the treatment.
When injected into fat under the chin, Kybella® completely destroys fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat. After reaching your desired aesthetic, further Kybella® treatment isn’t necessary.
The number of Kybella treatments needed will vary from patient to patient, and your Conklin Clinics provider in Aberdeen, South Dakota, will work with you to develop a custom care plan. Most patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 Kybella® treatments, spaced 1 month apart, but many patients require more treatments than that for optimal results.
